Dear Siwanoy Families, We have another exciting and enriching week in the books! This month there has been much to celebrate between the Jewish Holidays, Indigenous People Day, Columbus Day, Breast Cancer Awareness, Italian Heritage, Hispanic Heritage, Filipino Heritage, ADHD Awareness, Bullying Prevention, Unity Day, Dyslexia Awareness, and Halloween. Every day during the school announcements, we recognize each by incorporating a cool fact about the day/month. It is safe to say that October is a busy month. These type of announcements continue throughout the school year and continue to make our students the well rounded individuals they are. We look forward to another great week ahead! Have a great weekend. Sincerely, Farid Johnson #everydayabetteryou |

Siwanoy University - 6-7:30pm October 21 in the gym We are excited to announce that our Siwanoy University will be running this Monday, October 21st from 6-7:30. If you have not signed up, please send me an email if you would like to attend. Or, if by some chance you happen to magically be free at that time now, please feel free to pop in! Every night in the United States an estimated 600,000 people live on the streets. Socks are the MOST requested and LEAST donated item.
There is a decorated box in the hallway of the top floor, under the bulletin boards.
Collections are ongoing through November 25th. This is a prelude to our Siwanoy Serves initiative which will be hats, mittens & coats for The Sharing Shelf beginning after Halloween. We are hoping to collect even more than last year and we are so grateful for your contributions. 3rd Grade Orchestra Parent Night - Nov 7, 6:30-7:15pm Hutchinson Gym
