Principal’s Message

Dear Siwanoy,

Another week is in the books.  I cannot believe that we will be in the month of June already.  All of our students have been hard at work wrapping things up as we head into the last month of the school year.

I would like to give a hug shoutout to our PTA for putting on an amazing Volunteer Luncheon today. Volunteerism is the most selfless act of kindness and community building. Without our volunteers, we would not be where we are today as a school. Our super volunteer, Dave Sparano was recognized today for all of his efforts and he will truly be missed.

Have an amazing weekend and we look forward to another great week ahead.

Sincerely,
Farid Johnson

Our annual K-2 Sing-along took place on Thursday and it was adorable. Thank you everyone who came out to listen.  Special shout out to Mr. Vamos who never ceases to amaze me with his ease, grace and talent!

Get Caught Reading Month
How adorable are our 5th grade students reading to our 1st grader students?  Overheard from a 1st grader "Hey, can we now read to the 5th graders?"  We love to see this.  Special thanks to Mrs. Galiani for spear-heading this fun project.

Lunch Accounts
Please remember to fund your child's NutriKid/MySchoolBucks accounts.
Now that we are in the final stretch of the school year, please remember to add additional funds to your MySchoolBucks account.  This is especially true if your child orders two lunches.  If you do not have enough money in your account then that child will only get one lunch.  You can carry any remaining balance over to the Middle and High Schools.

What is My School Bucks and how do I fund the account?
www.MySchoolBucks.com is a payment website which interacts with the Nutrikids point of sale system.  On the site, parents fund their student’s account and view purchase transactions.  Alternatively, send in a check made payable to PUFSD Cafeteria Fund.
