Friday Update 9/8/2023

Dear Siwanoy families,

We are back and better than ever! The last two days have been spectacular. Thank you to my teachers and staff for making the first two days of school memorable. Your children may have been hot, but they were full of smiles and laughter and showed a desire to be the best versions of themselves. I am looking forward to an amazing year.

Thank you to our Siwanoy community for your support and efforts thus far as well. We have the best PTA in the business, and I truly think this year may be our best one together yet!

Back to School Picnic

Our PTA will be hosting our back to school picnic on Thursday, 9/14, beginning at 5:30. I look forward to seeing you all there.

Siwanoy University

This year, I would like to start the Siwanoy University for parents. This would be informational sessions held in the evening a couple of times per year to give you all insight to the different things happening here at Siwanoy. These topics will range from curriculum, social emotional learning, special education more. Please use the link below to write in a topic that you may want to know more about. Moment of Silence

We will be holding a moment of silence on Monday in remembrance of the events that took place on 9/11. My heart goes out to all whom were affected by the tragic events from that day.

Word of the Month - Enthusiasm

The word of the month is enthusiasm. Enthusiasm means having a lively interest or feeling excitement about something. We hope that you enter this new school year, take risks, and accept new challenges with enthusiasm.
